Kirov Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant increased labor productivity by one third

From the beginning of current year Kirov Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant (an enterprise of UMMC’s semi-fabricating complex) pushed up labor productivity by 29%.

According to Andrey Levichev, Deputy Director on Economy and Finance Kirov Non-Ferrous Metals Processing Plant , starting from March the plant has shown rate of labor productivity growth evidencing its effective operation and confident approach to pre-crisis indices.

“Positive dynamics of labor productivity growth is attained mainly because of internal resources conservation and technological strength enhancing, - Andrey Levichev said. – Combination of reduction of nonmanufacturing costs, optimum employment of manpower, improvement of working conditions and successful conversion to the equipment in new metallurgical complex, new technical processes and types of products allows to manage working time more efficiently, to increase labor productivity significantly and as a result to enhance competitiveness of the plant”.
